Dana St. Amand

Dana is a filmmaker, a bladesmith, and an activist. She started her freelance career at age 16, graduated from The Motion Picture Institute of Michigan at 20, and moved to LA to expand her film career at 24. With her production company Stained Pictures, she produced movies, commercials, and a tv show for the OUT tv network. She’s a proud trans woman, and a member of the Queer Collective, an activist organization empowering queer creators. She will be appearing on two queer documentaries currently in post-production. She does freelance film work and custom blades by commission. On TikTok, she is known for her slogan “Be Gay Make Swords.”
